Food is excellent. Generous servings. Friends service and atmosphere. Love having this in the neighborhood. Bonus points for full bar and to-go margaritas.
This place is so tasty I love their birria tacos. More than the Sinaloa truck in fruitvale. They add just enough meat and cheese. It stays crispy and delicious and doesn't fall apart. The salmon salad is really good as well. They never disappoint always consistent. There's a young man in there that is so professional i hate that i can't remember his name. He works the register with a smile and is fast and went above and beyond with making sure I had everything I needed. I'm happy every time I go there.
The best. I used to take my students here after dance rehearsal when I had my studio on Grand Ave. Authentic food and friendly service.
This chile rellenos at Los Cantaros Restaurant are delicious. Trying to confirm or verify whether this restaurant is still in business. Does anyone know? Previously we used Postmates for delivery from this this restaurant however, they currently show in Postmates that they are no longer available. I have also telephoned the restaurant numerous times in the past two weeks, but no one answers the phone.
This place is guhhhoooood! I live in the area and bring myself on taco night dates with me lol. Nothing better than a good margarita, tacos and chips and salsa!
The baja fish tacos and carne asada are BOMB. Fish tacos are fried perfectly and full of flavor. If you get it super it comes with guacamole and sour cream i think? Margaritas are good, chips are good, no complaints here!

Back to Los Cantaros after 4 years. It remains a local neighborhood favourite. Courteous and friendly service. Prompt service. Clean bathrooms. Yummy food :) spicy steak burrito remains as yummy as it used to be. Consistency! Will be back for more!!!
Some great things here. Their friendly wait staff doesn't hurt.
By far the best thing is the Caldo Tlapeno. It's a spicy chicken soup, with carrots and zucchini. Comes with some rice, limes and cilantro and raw onions that you put into the soup.
Secondly, I love their Tampico salad. I get it with just grilled vegetables, tho you can get it with some carne. Very tasty and enough variety to keep you interested.
A friend of mine got a burrito and enjoyed it. I can't say. but I'm so delighted with those other two dishes it doesn't matter.
